Russia (bbabo.net), - In Odessa, in apartment 133 in the house on Staroportofrankovskaya Street (not far from Privoz), where the satirist writer Mikhail Zhvanetsky lived, a museum will open. Information about this was disseminated by the press service of the Odessa City Council, but the satirist's wife Natalya Zhvanetskaya, as well as the literary secretary of the writer Oleg Stashkevich, told the observer about this. The World Club of Odessans, whose president was Zhvanetsky, confirmed the information. All work is carried out with the consent and under the guidance of the wife of the satirist Natalia Zhvanetskaya.

"On the second floor, expositions will be organized in the rooms, and on the first floor it is planned to create a souvenir shop ... We plan to open a museum-apartment by this tourist season. I am sure that, like the museum-apartment of Leonid Utesov, it will become one of the places visited by tourists," says the mayor of the city, Gennady Trukhanov.

To date, work is underway to replace the roof, strengthen the walls and foundation of the future museum. Then, work will begin on replacing the interfloor ceiling, utilities and partitions, and in the future, finishing work will also be carried out on the restoration of furniture, window frames, doors, and so on. It is noted that the decision to create the municipal institution "Odessa Municipal Museum-Apartment of Mikhail Zhvanetsky" was made on July 28, 2021. Work on the overhaul of the structure is carried out at extrabudgetary funds.
