Ed Sheeran started building his burial chamber

English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has started building a church in his mini-village in Suffolk, under which there will be a crypt where he is to be buried after his death. It is reported by the Daily Mail.

The non-denominational church, which should become a place of reflection and prayer for representatives of different religions, will be located on the territory of his £3.7 million estate. At the same time, the burial chamber itself will be about 4 square meters in area.

The building will have a lobby with a spiral staircase leading to a small gallery and a main activity space. The temple will have a lead roof, flint walls and stained glass windows. The roof is shaped like a leaf, and the original plans say the design reflects shapes familiar to everyone. This will allow each person to interpret its symbolism in their own way, which reflects the principle of its multi-purpose and non-confessional use.

It was previously reported that Sheeran's "Shape of you" hit 3 billion streams on Spotify for the first time in history.
