He told how, at the age of 79, he gave his first concert in a nightclub. According to him, about 800 people came to Glavklub - people about 40 years old, whom Leshchenko calls "youth". “I wouldn't go where Dirty Molly or Morgenstern perform. Although it is not known, maybe there would be a reason to read Mayakovsky's poems or Shakespeare's sonnets to them, so that they would understand that there are samples of the greatest culture, ”the artist reflects.

Lev Leshchenko also noted that now there are few songs that stick in the memory, but “for business” the artist can sometimes listen to Klava Koka and Danya Milokhin, who has a song with Nikolai Baskov. “These are all people who come to the stage, in the traditional format,” the singer said.

On February 1, Lev Leshchenko will celebrate his 80th birthday on the stage of the Crocus City Hall. The star friends of the hero of the day will take part in the concert "Constellation of the Lion".

Earlier, Leshchenko stood up for the "blue lights", which were criticized by the president of the National Association of Broadcasters Eduard Sagalaev.
