Four people have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in a drug overdose of actor Michael Kenneth Williams, the star of The Wire.
According to The Sun, one of them, arrested in Puerto Rico, Irvin Kartagena, nicknamed "Green-Eyed", is accused of selling Williams a mixture of heroin and fentanyl a few hours before the overdose.
His accomplices, drug dealers Hector Robles, Luis Cruz and Carlos Matchi, have been charged with involvement in the sale.
Michael Kenneth Williams died of an accidental overdose on September 6 at his home in Brooklyn, in his blood found a lethal dose of drugs, including fentanyl, heroin and cocaine. He was 54 years old.
Williams became known to a wide audience thanks to the role of robbery drug dealer Omar Little in the TV series The Wire, which ran from 2002 to 2008. The role of powerful African-American gangster in Atlantic City, Albert "Chalky" White, in the TV series Boardwalk Empire helped him consolidate his success.
