Russia (bbabo.net), - The European online premiere of the Russian web series "Natural Selection" will be held on the video service Streamz (Belgium). It presents films and series from the world's leading studios (including HBO, Paramount, Sony, Universal and others), as well as original projects. "Natural Selection" is the first Russian web series on the platform.

The main roles in the series were played by Maria Korytova ("Halves") and Efim Petrunin ("Walk, Vasya!", "Daddy for Growth"), directed by Kirill Alekhin ("Rocketjump", "Easy Rink-2").

"Natural Selection" has collected more than 16 million views on the social network "VKontakte". Licensed by Premier Online Cinema. Shown at Realist Web Festival (Russia), Bilbao Seriesland (Spain), Marseille Web Fest (France), NYC Web Fest (USA) and Rio Webfest (Brazil), and nominated for the Third Web Industry Award as the best Russian web series.

The series has been filmed since 2020 by the Life Is Short and Fakepublish film companies with the support of the Internet Development Institute (IRI) as part of the Culture national project. The project partners are the Kino-Teatr.ru portal and the VKontakte social network.
