Actor Gennady Yukhtin was hospitalized a few days after being discharged, TASS reports.

At the end of January, 89-year-old Yukhtin felt unwell, and in February he sought medical help. He was diagnosed with coronavirus and hospitalized. The actor was diagnosed with viral pneumonia, PCR test for coronavirus was positive. Doctors assessed the condition of the actor as serious.

Feeling better, the actor went home - his discharge became known on February 14.

Gennady Yukhtin is known to viewers for the films "Spring on Zarechnaya Street", "The Rumyantsev Case", "Scuba Tanks at the Bottom", "Dead Season" and "The Lark". He also starred in Siberiade and Elusive Avengers. In 1994, Yukhtin received the title of People's Artist of Russia.
