Reconciling street art appeared at the embassies of Russia and Ukraine in Rome

"Reconciling" street art appeared at the embassies of Russia and Ukraine in Rome, RIA Novosti reports.

The author of the work is the Italian artist Laika, who remained anonymous. She depicted two tanks on blots made in the colors of the Ukrainian and Russian flags. The muzzles of the tanks are bent, forming the international symbol of peace and the anti-war movement - "Pacific". Another symbol of peace hovers above the tanks - a dove by Pablo Picasso. As conceived by the artist, the bird flies over the tanks, leaving traces of its droppings on them. Under the picture in Russian is written "peace".

The same posters appeared at the diplomatic missions on the night of February 16. “With the posters, she expresses her outrage at the tense situation in Ukraine, because “war cannot be an option, especially in a region where too much blood has already been shed,” Laika explained to reporters in her address.

Britain and the United States on the eve of the "date of invasion" of Russia in Ukraine - February 16 - published articles that spoke about the exact time of the start of the war. The tabloid The Sun, for example, stated that the Russians would attack Ukraine at exactly one in the morning, but then made changes - "the sky over Kiev remained silent." Defense Minister Ben Wallace has already said that it is pointless to talk about dates in this case, but this did not bother the Western media. And Estonian intelligence has already called the new terms of the "invasion".
