Russia (bbabo.net), - The Golden Mask Festival has announced an online program - this year live broadcasts of productions marked by theater award experts will be held for the fifth time. Moreover, they can be reviewed within a year. Recordings on the Okko platform will be available to all registered users.
In total, there are three productions in the Golden Mask Online program. The series of broadcasts will open on March 1 with the play "Peter Pan in Kensington Garden" by the Yekaterinburg Theater for Young Spectators. The creative tandem of director Roman Feodori and artist Daniil Akhmedov is interesting not only for its vivid poetic images, but also for the literary material itself - this is not a direct retelling of the story by James Matthew Barry, but the prehistory of the plot. The performance was included in the Golden Mask program "Children's Weekend".
Next - another Yekaterinburg work: the ballet "Humpbacked Horse" of the Ural Opera Ballet. The show will take place on April 3rd.
- Choreographers Vyacheslav Samodurov and Anton Pimonov boldly intertwine classical and new choreography, history familiar from childhood and modern urban culture, the Urals are real and fabulous. All this was duly appreciated by the Golden Mask experts, who nominated the performance for the award in eight nominations at once, the organizers of the project say.
And on April 13, online viewers, along with the jury of the festival and the Moscow public, will see the "Time-out" of the Novosibirsk Red Torch Theater. This broadcast is a real challenge for the film crew.
- Director Pyotr Shereshevsky turned the everyday and at the same time tragic story of the main character into a fascinating "movie" about each of us. The theater stage turns into a labyrinth-supermarket, which the characters settle in. Close-ups of the actors are displayed online on the screen - thanks to which you can guess not only the mood, but also the hidden thoughts of the characters. All this complex multimedia picture is to be conveyed, - they note in the "Golden Mask".

The Golden Mask started organizing online broadcasts in 2018 and since then has been giving Russian viewers the opportunity to see the performances of the festival every year. The project immediately won the love of the public, so, in 2021, more than 900,000 viewers watched the Golden Mask online broadcasts.
