The funeral telegram was published on the Kremlin website. “I sincerely share the grief that befell your family. Boris Georgievich Nevzorov, a talented artist, creative, enthusiastic, infinitely devoted to his beloved work, has passed away,” the president wrote. “His bright, original works in cinema and on the theater stage will forever remain in the memory of viewers of different generations,” he said.

Russian actor Boris Nevzorov died on February 19, 2022 at the age of 73 from a coronavirus. His death was confirmed at theatre, where he served for over 15 years. The artist also has more than a hundred roles in films and TV series, among the most famous are Ivan Ryabov in the historical film "Young Russia", Fedotov in the social drama "Fool", school director Boris Ivanovich in the youth telenovela "Simple Truths" and investigator Konstantin Olshansky in detective series "Kamenskaya".
