Another Russian actress was not allowed to enter Ukraine

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine detained a citizen of the Russian Federation, actress Lyubov Bakhankova at the Kiev airport Borispol. The reason for this was her trip to Crimea, RIA Novosti reports.

The Russian woman flew to Boryspil from Warsaw - the 32-year-old actress intended to take part in the filming in Ukraine, but the woman did not manage to get into the country. The reason for the refusal is called "violation of the norms of Ukrainian legislation."

Earlier, Ukrainian border guards did not allow a Russian dubbing actress into the country on the border with Moldova. The reason for this was also her trip to Crimea. As a result, a woman is now banned from visiting Ukraine for three years.

In March 2014, a referendum was held in Crimea, as a result of which the peninsula became a territorial part of Russia, and Sevastopol became a city of federal significance.

In the same year, the EU imposed sanctions against Russia in connection with the events in Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea to Russia. The restrictions have been expanded and extended several times. Some Russian officials were banned from entering the EU and their assets were frozen. In addition, trade, financial and military restrictions were introduced. In response, Russia has banned the import of a number of European food products.
