Mishustin named landmarks for Russian films shot with state support

Russia (bbabo.net) - From February 1, cinema tickets for Russian films will be available on "Pushkinskaya Karta". For a certain limit, the owner will be able to attend about seven sessions per year. Receiving support from the state, the participants in the film industry must be ready to defend the cultural sovereignty, values, traditions of the country, carefully and accurately treat the history of Russia and its heritage, said Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. "It is important that this road be a two-way road," he emphasized. The President of the country suggested adding opportunities to the Pushkin Map, having learned that the funds allocated for it by the end of the year will be far from being used in full volume, and next year, along with the increase in the card denomination, funding will also grow. An idea came up - to allow young people to go to the cinema. But not for any, only for Russian paintings.

This option will become available on February 1, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting of the government council for the development of domestic cinematography. For everything - and next year the value of the "Pushkin Card" will increase from three to five thousand - you will not be able to take a walk. “We gave cardholders a choice: either to spend all five thousand rubles on theaters, museums, and so on, or up to two thousand rubles of this amount on cinema tickets. According to our estimates, with this approach, a young man can buy about seven tickets at cinema a year, "said Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova. This approach will increase the interest of young people in Russian cinema, but will not hit museums, theaters and concert halls.

It will take a month and a half for the cinemas to have time to prepare themselves technically: to sell tickets on the Pushkinskaya Card, they will have to place separate buttons on their websites and purchase specially dedicated "white" banking terminals, the Deputy Prime Minister explained.

But the reward for that hassle can be good. Additional revenues of the film industry next year will amount to about six billion rubles. And Mikhail Mishustin counted them for the entire youth of the country as a whole: “If you look at us, the number of our young people between the ages of 14 and 22 is about 13 million. 26 billion rubles for which you can compete with good, high-quality films. "

The "Pushkinskaya Card" has been in effect since September, and during this time 3.5 million people have issued it; cardholders have left 1.42 billion rubles in cultural institutions. "Over 2.2 million tickets have been purchased," Tatiana Golikova emphasized.

The Government Council discussed how to further promote the domestic film industry. Over the past ten years, the share of Russian films in the country's film distribution has grown from 14 to 30 percent. In recent years, according to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, domestic films have been collecting the largest box office in the country and are becoming the leaders in distribution, occupying leading positions in viewing on global online platforms. "This is a good guideline for further steps to develop the film industry," Mishustin believes.

The Ministry of Culture intends to submit to the government a concept for the development of cinematography until 2030 at the beginning of next year, said the head of the department Olga Lyubimova. On the national market, the share of viewers of Russian cinema should be at least 30 percent, and Russian cinema will have to enter the top five in the world.

In 2022, the film industry will receive at least 17 billion rubles The minister considers the preservation and development of state film studios in the main centers for the development of film production in Moscow and St. Petersburg to be a critical point. “This is due to the presence of demand from the film industry for the rental of pavilions, requisites and services of film production, from the side of society - for educational and cultural and educational programs,” Lyubimova explained.

Russian cinema, with the help of constant state support, has a fairly strong position today, says Mikhail Mishustin. At the cinema - the issue has already been agreed with the President - the government will add another 5.5 billion rubles in 2022. Four billion will be received by the Cinema Fund for spectator films, and one and a half billion - by the Ministry of Culture. The prime minister summed up everything, taking into account the money from the "Pushkinskaya karta": "In total, around 2022, the film industry will receive at least 17 billion rubles. This is already good funds, which can be used to produce excellent work and compete with global producers of this content."

By investing in the Russian film industry, the state expects from it at least responsibility, the head of government noted. "This story, which is associated with love for the Motherland, for family, justice, preservation of historical truth, or, as the president put it, on the basis of healthy conservatism, should be present in the very guidelines that we will expect from public investments," said Mishustin ...
