The online premiere of the film will take place on December 31 at the Okko multimedia service and on the official Youtube channel of the Soyuzmultfilm studio. The TV premiere of the new cartoon will be on December 27 on the air of the STS Kids TV channel, and then the viewers of the Karusel and Mult TV channels will see it. Also, the cartoon characters can be seen in the TV program "Yolka, Cat and New Year-2" on the air of the Karusel TV channel on December 31.
In support of the cartoon, the quest "How to return the winter to Vovka" will be launched - a game for the whole family, it will be available in several mobile applications.
The 2D painting is based on the classic 1965 cartoon by Boris Stepantsev about the boy Vovka, who did not want to work and dreamed of a fabulous life until he found himself in the real Far-Away Kingdom.
According to the plot of the new cartoon, the main character has to go to a magical land again, where preparations for the New Year are in full swing. However, once in the Far Away Kingdom, Vovka quarrels with Morozko, which leads to the cancellation of winter. The Tsar, dissatisfied with this sudden circumstance, threatens the hapless hero with severe punishment, and now Vovka will have to return the winter and save the holiday.
The script for the cartoon is Maria Izotova, the director is Alexei Vvedensky. The main roles were voiced by the children of the Russian showman, actor and singer Timur Rodriguez - Daniel (Vovka) and Miguel (Morozko), as well as famous dubbing actors - Larisa Brokhman (Pechka) and Diomid Vinogradov (Tsar and Helpers).
