At the age of 85, the writer and public figure Albert Likhanov died, the Public Chamber of Russia (OPR) reported this.

“Albert Anatolyevich headed the Russian Children's Fund, the Children's Defense Fund. His works were read and loved in many countries. His books instilled a desire to do good deeds for many generations of children, ”the press service of the RRO noted.

The Public Chamber stressed that Likhanov was an outstanding writer, and also expressed "sincere condolences" to the family and friends of the deceased.
