Russia - Boris Khlebnikov's new film with Peresild and Burkovsky will be released on the Web on January 2

Russia (bbabo.net), - The premiere of Boris Khlebnikov's new film Solnechnaya Line, based on the play of the same name by Ivan Vyrypaev, will be released on January 2 in two online cinemas - Kinopoisk and Kion.

The film, made by Sergei Selyanov's company CTV specifically for platforms, is a new step for our film industry. Sergei Selyanov himself says so (quoted from the release sent to): "Solar Line" is one of our first projects that we filmed specifically for platforms, and this is a very unusual movie in terms of production, we shot it from ten cameras in One hit, to put it simply, is when a scene is filmed from several points at once, and the take takes an hour or an hour twenty. This is not an easy task, and a kind of challenge. At one time, Alexander Rogozhkin began filming "Streets of Broken Lanterns" - in Russia then there were almost no serials filmed, and I asked him: "Sasha, why do you need this?", And he replied: "I'm interested, I can film film in eight days or not. " It seemed impossible then. Such challenges are always interesting. "

Selyanov told how the idea to shoot such a project was born, and how Boris Khlebnikov reacted to the proposal: “We took this project to work and offered to shoot it to Boris Khlebnikov. As I said, this is a very unusual project in terms of cinematography, and Khlebnikov is one of those who are interested in challenges, plus he is always interested in filming about people. He feels it and knows how. And, of course, we were happy that he agreed and took on this project.

And the story of this film began simply. My colleague and partner Maxim Ukhanov suggested that I watch this play by Ivan Vyrypaev at the theater, but since I am not an avid theatergoer, he asked me to send me this play to read in order to save time. I read it and it intrigued me. And I decided to still watch her on stage. I came to the theater and realized that the idea to convey this to a larger number of spectators than the theater hall allows is correct. We are always looking for stories about today and forever. And the story about a man and a woman is eternal. Such scenes and dialogues were and, I think, will be in the life of every person. "

The action in the play and, accordingly, in the film takes place on New Year's Eve. He and she. The guests have dispersed and it's time to find out the relationship - do they love each other or no longer? And in principle - did you love? Are they telling the truth or are they lying? Do they only know how to run over or can they forgive too? Should they stay together or get divorced?

Reading the description, it's impossible not to remember one of the best films of 2021, "Malcolm and Marie", which came out on Netflix. However, there is no New Year there. And how different the projects are - it will be interesting to compare.

"To be honest, I always wanted to make a movie in one, two, or three days. And when I was offered to do it, then, of course, I agreed - it's terribly interesting. We started thinking how to do it. And our cameraman Sasha Simonov suggested such a scheme - we build the scenery, fill it with cameras, a large number of microphones, and shoot in one big take. We did three takes a day. Of course, we are not the first who went this way, in fact, the film "Rope" by Hitchcock was shot in one shot. a thing for us, not for world cinema, "says director Boris Khlebnikov.

He also reveals the details: “We had a week of rehearsals before filming, and after that we entered the filming period. We invited Andrey Burkovsky and Yulia Peresild, who played this play in the theater for several years. incredibly able-bodied artists, secondly, they absolutely fit these roles, and thirdly, in such a short time no actor would have learned such a ton of lyrics. they play this performance - in different intonations, a different tempo, and here they had to forget the previous task, the melody and do everything completely differently.

For me, this is a story for me about typical gender deafness, when a man does not hear a woman, and vice versa. About stereotypes of women and men ".

Khlebnikov also says that the filmmakers came up with the idea that a conversation between a man and a woman takes place on New Year's Eve.

“It seems to me that this holiday is a huge myth about joyful family gatherings, where everyone loves each other, and everyone is in a great mood. I once looked at ten works by Marina Razbezhkina's students, whom she asked to photograph the family. And every time it was suspense. Usually in the evening everyone quarreled and then the countdown continued - will the family sit down at the table or will everyone stay in their room?

It is curious that Burkovsky and Peresild have been playing the play "Solar Line" in the theater for three years. This production by director Viktor Ryzhakov received five Golden Mask nominations.
