Russia (bbabo.net), - According to the results of the past year, Russian state-owned companies and state customers purchased domestically produced goods for a total amount of 5.5 trillion rubles. Volumes are growing, and no new incentives are expected in this part, said Minister of Trade and Industry Denis Manturov.

“We are implementing import substitution programs precisely in order, firstly, to provide preferences in the domestic market, and secondly, to give the opportunity to use public procurement as a guaranteed tool for marketing the products under development. Thus, last year the volume of delivered products amounted to 5.5 trillion rubles, and every year this amount only increases," Manturov said at the Gaidar Forum.

According to the minister, all the necessary state support measures for Russian manufacturers have already been taken, no new preferences are planned, however, the list of goods covered by state support may change later.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, at the end of 2019, the share of domestic products in public procurement was 49%, in 2020 - 57%, the amount of these government orders amounted to 1.4 trillion and 1.7 trillion rubles, respectively. In the procurement segment of state-owned companies, 2.5 trillion rubles were spent on domestic products in 2019 and 4.7 trillion in 2020.
