Russia has made a proposal to Ukraine and the IMF, which can be used as the basis for settlement of the Ukrainian debt to the Russian Federation.

This was announced by Russian Finance Minister, Anton Siluanov, to the reporters, says "Interfax-Ukraine".

"Russian Federation made a proposal on the procedure of Russian debt repayment by Ukraine in the amount of 3 billion dollars, which has to be held in December this year," - said Siluanov.

According to him, "the Russian proposal is interesting and can be used as the basis for the resolution of the debt problems of Ukraine to the Russian Federation."

"We were not talking with our Ukrainian partners about this, because the proposals of our Ukrainian colleagues do not differ from the settlement of the debt owed to commercial creditors. I have repeatedly emphasized that we do not consider acceptable for themselves to talk about restructuring, similar to commercial creditors," - told Siluanov.
