At the session on January 13, 2022, the price of Brent crude oil exceeded the threshold of $84 per barrel, recording an increase of approximately 23% compared to the beginning of December,” the ANRE press release says.

The agency assures consumers that fuel suppliers have nothing to do with the rise in prices. “The prices calculated for the main standard oil products reliably reflect changes in the international market over the recent period and exclude the possibility of oil companies interfering in this process by possibly increasing them unreasonably,” the conclusion says.
