Industrial production rose by 1.1% in February in the euro area, after a slight decline previous month, reported Tuesday Eurostat, European statistics office.

In January, industrial production in the Eurozone fell by 0.3%, Eurostat said.

Among the Union Members States, from which data are available, the highest increases were noticed in Ireland (+ 16.3%), Lithuania (+ 6.1%), and Greece (+ 2.5%), whereas the largest decrease showed Malta (-1.3%).
