Russia (bbabo.net), - The Federal Antimonopoly Service will strengthen control over participants in the oil products market in the regions. The order to resume the work of the operational headquarters, whose meetings will be held weekly, was sent to the territorial bodies, according to a message published on the FAS Telegram channel.
"The primary task is to strengthen control in the regions over the activities of participants in the oil products market and to take response measures in case of detection of signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation," the press service of the department explained.
FAS will pay special attention to prices for AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline, diesel fuel and liquefied hydrocarbon gases.
Earlier, the FAS and the Ministry of Energy proposed to increase sales of gasoline on the stock exchange. According to the draft order of the two departments, oil companies or refineries (refineries) will have to increase sales of gasoline through the exchange from 11 to 12% of its production, and diesel fuel - from 7.5 to 8.5%.
It is assumed that the increase in sales of petroleum products through the stock exchange will increase supply in the domestic market and will hinder the growth of wholesale prices.
