It was preliminary established that the actions of an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Department on transport led to unreasonable initiation of proceedings against a citizen under part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, transfer, storage, transportation, transfer or carrying of firearms, their main parts and ammunition). The man was brought to justice.

"The head of the UT of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Central Federal District has appointed an internal audit. If guilt is confirmed, the employee will be dismissed from the internal affairs bodies on negative grounds and will be punished, and his leaders will be brought to strict disciplinary responsibility," the transport police noted.
