Russia (bbabo.net), - In 2021, about 850,000 people were provided with high-quality water under the Clean Water federal project. Such data was given at a meeting of the presidium of the government commission for regional development by the head of the Ministry of Construction, Irek Fayzullin.

About 260 facilities were built in 247 settlements, which made it possible to provide 850,000 people with quality water from centralized water supply systems, Fayzullin said. This year it is planned to build more than 370 objects.

"Major repairs were carried out in 54.4 thousand apartment buildings, in which 7.2 million people live. This is 10% more than in 2020. We will continue to work actively on the systemic modernization of housing and communal services," Fayzullin said.

"Our goal is to replace at least 5% of worn-out utility networks a year," said Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, who chaired the meeting.
