China trade mission launched for UK smallest firms

Small British firms that are looking to do business in China have been invited to apply for a three-day trade mission to Shanghai, which will take place in September this year.

The initiative, which has been launched by entrepreneur organisation Enterprise Nation, aims to help tiny firms to export to China, and is targeting ambitious, growing companies that do not have the resources to undertake this kind of mission alone.

The trip has been sponsored by HP, Paypal, HSBC, UK Trade & Investment and the China-Britain Business Council.
Earlier this year, the Government announced plans to double its investment in British firms exporting to China by increasing resources at UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) to £7.5m.
