Sber started financing small and medium-sized businesses under an updated program

Sberbank has begun accepting applications for issuing preferential loans for small and medium-sized businesses under the updated program of the Ministry of Economic Development to subsidize preferential lending as part of Decree No. 1764 of the Government of the Russian Federation.

“Sberbank has been working under the 1764 program since its launch and during this time has financed small and medium-sized businesses in the amount of more than 1 trillion rubles. Now, thanks to the new limit, we are ready to provide additional funding to entrepreneurs. This limit will allow maintaining the current portfolio, as well as issuing more than 100 billion rubles in additional loans. We believe that this is an important measure that can support the economy after the difficult and unstable period of the pandemic,” said Anatoly Popov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Sberbank.

The maximum rate on the loan is equal to the value of the key rate of the Bank of Russia on the date of conclusion of the agreement plus 2.75%. As a result, the loan rate will be 11.25%.

The maximum loan amount depends on the purpose of the loan. When lending for investment purposes for micro-enterprises - 200 million rubles, for small businesses - 500 million rubles, for medium-sized businesses - 2 billion rubles. With revolving lending for micro and small businesses - 200 million rubles, for medium-sized businesses - 500 million rubles. When refinancing - no more than the amount of the refinanced loan.
