Russia (bbabo.net), - In the near future, equity holders will be offered compensation more often than apartments in completed houses. Konstantin Timofeev, General Director of the Territorial Development Fund (former name - the Fund for the Protection of the Rights of Citizens - Participants in Equity Construction), spoke about this at a press conference.

The task facing the fund is to solve the problems of deceived equity holders by the end of 2023. They are either offered to receive compensation for the cost of apartments, or they are given housing after the completion of the house.

This year and next year, the fund will offer compensation to equity holders more often. “Now, if we see that houses are coming out in 2023, we will offer the subjects to reconsider their decisions. Because if houses are built in 2024, then this is wrong,” Timofeev said.

The Fund's Supervisory Board will have to make decisions on another 224 objects with 12.3 thousand affected citizens. They will be accepted this year. At the end of 2021, 1,362 more troubled houses were under control of the regions. According to the road maps, in 2022 it is planned to restore the rights of 27.8 thousand citizens (409 objects), in 2023 - 23.6 thousand (412 objects).

According to the 1,263 houses reviewed by the Supervisory Board of the Fund in 2019-2021, decisions were made to complete the construction of 569 objects. At the same time, about 30 decisions were later revised - it was nevertheless decided to pay compensation to citizens. This may be due to the impossibility of transferring the site on which construction was carried out to the foundation - if, for example, there are two different objects on it.
