Russia (bbabo.net), - In the Moscow region, the number of expensive houses offered for rent has decreased. In 2021, the volume of supply in the high-budget suburban rental market decreased by 36%, Knight Frank calculated.
This is due to the high demand for suburban housing due to ongoing coronavirus restrictions. At the same time, the number of requests for such houses decreased by the same amount (compared to 2020), although this is still three times higher than in 2019. The average high-budget rental rate (houses with rates of 400,000 rubles or more per month were taken into account) increased by 10% over the year to 1.5 million rubles per month. The increase in price is mainly due to the dynamics of exchange rates, experts say. The rates of 43% of high-budget rental houses in the Moscow region are set in foreign currency.
Most expensive mansions are offered for rent at rates of 1.5-3 million rubles per month (22%) and 400-600 thousand rubles per month (21% of houses).
The average area of such houses is 850 sq. m. Most of them (39%) - from 400 to 700 sq.m.
The greatest demand for country houses was in February-May (people rented housing for the summer) and at the end of the third quarter (potential tenants returned from holidays, but the remote work mode was preserved).
