According to her, at best, milk will rise in price within the limits of inflation. According to Rosstat, since the beginning of the year, prices for whole pasteurized drinking milk have increased by 1.65%, whole sterilized drinking milk - by 1.6%, and inflation was 1.07%.
“Prices for dairy products depend on the cost of raw milk purchased by processing enterprises, the cost of additional ingredients, packaging, labeling, and transportation. Changes in prices for these products will correspond to the dynamics of milk prices and even overtake it - a reduction in the raw material base, a change in the prices of imported ingredients will affect, ”Dolgova said.
She added that the cost of milk is also affected by the following indicators: animal feed, herd management, prices for veterinary drugs, raw milk processing, product transportation and retailers' markups.
Earlier, alcohol producers and restaurateurs sent a collective letter to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, in which they asked to exclude the introduction of the “Honest Sign” label in the alcohol sector, which could lead to an increase in prices for their products.
