Russia (bbabo.net), - The Department of Housing and Public Utilities of Moscow will check the validity of the accruals issued by private management companies in the Koptevo area. This was reported by the press service of the department to journalists.

"In a number of media and social networks, there were reports of increased charges for heating in the Koptevo district of the Northern Administrative District, which were billed to Muscovites by private management companies," the ministry said.

In accordance with the requirements of federal legislation, heating payments are being adjusted. These documents establish the principle of payment for the current heat consumption in a particular month in the amount of 1/12 of the last year's volume. At the end of the year, the cost is adjusted to the actual volume of thermal energy supplied to the residential building.

Based on the bills issued by individual private management companies in the Koptevo district, the Department of Housing and Public Utilities will check the validity of the calculations of charges for heating.

Recall that residents of different areas in social networks complained about thousands of heating bills. At the same time, PJSC MIPC allegedly explained that this is an adjustment to the cost of the actual volume of thermal energy consumed in 2021 under contracts for the "heating service". They say that the heating period began earlier, the winter was cold, so they spent more heat. For example, in the Northern Administrative District, overspending was estimated at 1.6 million rubles.
