In Russia, the cost of making a will has risen sharply

In Russia, since the beginning of the year, the cost of making a will with a notary has risen sharply. In January, the service rose by 18.1% on average across the country, follows from Rosstat data on January inflation. RBC writes about it.

According to the publication, such a monthly increase was a record for the entire history of monitoring the dynamics of the price of the certificate of wills. The dynamics has been monitored since 2009. A similar growth was recorded only in January 2015 - by 17.95%.

Price growth is uneven in different regions. It is reported that tariffs in the Tomsk region and Yakutia have risen by about 80%, but in 23 regions, including Moscow and the Moscow region, they have not changed at all.

Earlier it was reported that the Russians in the pandemic year entered into a record number of marriage contracts. Usually such agreements are needed in order to divide the acquired property in the event of a divorce, but Russians are increasingly using them as a tool to protect property, for example, from creditors and business failures. I figured out what a marriage contractually protect against, and what is a Hollywood myth.
