Russia (bbabo.net), - The Ministry of Labor has expanded the list of professions for alternative civilian service for 2022: this year there will be 127 instead of 124. The draft order of the department on this is undergoing public discussion.

The explanatory note notes that some of the previously available professions are excluded from the list, but new ones have been added to it. For example, alternative employees can now work as a pediatrician or dentist in a district or city hospital, an epidemiologist, a courier, a rolling stock cleaner, an agrochemist, an assistant educator, a local forest protection inspector, a waterworks repairman, a freight forwarder.

But all-terrain vehicle drivers, janitors, livestock breeders, fur farmers, sailors, telecom operators, postmen, bath service workers, car repairmen and tractor drivers are excluded from the list of professions alternative to military service. Not included in it this year are also such positions of employees as an architect, librarian, biologist, forensic doctor, health center doctor, teacher of a special school, sports instructor.

It is noted that proposals for alternative civilian service in 2022 were submitted by five federal executive authorities and 78 regional ones. In total, young people will be able to pass it in 1034 Russian organizations.
