The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Bank of Russia are currently working on a draft reform of voluntary pension savings. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Minister of Finance of the country Anton Siluanov.

It is planned that this project will be presented by legislators this year. There is no exact timeline associated with the upcoming draft of the new pension reform yet. The elaboration of normative legal solutions is already underway.

The relevant issue was raised as part of the VTB Forum in 2021.

Details of the new project in the field of pension savings have not yet been given.

Last year, the Ministry of Labor prepared a draft on the remote assignment of pension payments.

Also in the fall, economist Yevgeny Yakushev explained the essence of the proposed scheme for the transfer of pension savings. In order to separate this money from other contributions, to maintain legal status, it is proposed to create a separate pension scheme.
