Russia - In Moscow, housing prices fell due to omicron

Russia (bbabo.net) - In 12 districts of old Moscow, the value of real estate decreased in January. According to the analysts of INCOM-Nedvizhimost, this is due to the spread of "omicron".

Levoberezhny, Shchukino, Nagatinsky backwater, Timiryazevsky and Meshchansky districts became the leaders in reducing the prices of the "square". In these locations, despite the constant upward trend in prices, real estate has become cheaper by 0.3-0.8 percent on average.

According to Sergey Shloma, Director of the Secondary Market Department, the situation was affected by the uncertainty associated with the winter round of the pandemic. Many simply postponed real estate transactions until better times. However, now the situation has stabilized again, and prices may soon return to their usual annual dynamics.
