But, as noted in the "Public Control", in the production of a kilogram of sour cream with 20 percent fat content, only the cost of milk will be 200 rubles. But you still need to lay the cost of production, packaging, delivery to the store, the trade margin and at least a minimum profit. Milk fat was also not found in sour cream from Torzhok, which was sold under the private label of a large retailer at the rate of 175 rubles per kilogram.

In two more samples, milk fat was found, but in a much smaller amount than was stated on the label. If the sour cream is less fat than stated, it means that less milk was used in the production than it should have been, say social activists. That is, the manufacturer saved and misled the consumer.

It should be noted that the situation on the sour cream market in St. Petersburg, although difficult, is not a stalemate. Five samples of sour cream, which were examined in the laboratory, turned out to meet all the requirements. True, the prices for real sour cream bite.
