Liability may arise if a citizen withholds information about a change of residence in order to maintain regional allowances. "After all, social benefits for pensioners are of two types - regional and federal, and by changing their place of residence, for example, when moving from Moscow to another region, pensioners lose Moscow allowances," Kormilitsina explained.
Some pensioners receive an additional payment for the maintenance of disabled family members, and then do not notify the FIU that the dependent has received a job.
In addition, it is illegal to receive certain payments while continuing to work. Most often, this concerns social supplements for pensions up to the subsistence level and supplements for rural experience, the specialist explained.
