Rosaviatsiya will start tracking prices for some flights

The Federal Air Transport Agency requires airlines to report monthly on the prices of tickets in economy class to Primorye, Kamchatka, the southern regions of Russia and Kaliningrad. Izvestia writes about this with reference to a letter from the deputy head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Georgy Bakharev.

It follows from the document that the reports should contain information on the average cost of booked air transportation to Kaliningrad, Simferopol, Sochi, Anapa, Blagoveshchensk, Ulan-Ude, Chita, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Magadan, Vladivostok, Yakutsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Khabarovsk and Anadyr .

According to the publication, such an instruction was given by the Ministry of Transport, it is necessary in order to prevent an "unreasonable increase" in the cost of air tickets. One of Izvestia's sources said that the reason for this decision could be a sharp rise in ticket prices for one of the carriers, whose name is not mentioned.

The Federal Air Transport Agency has not yet commented on this requirement of the department.

Earlier, the OneTwoTrip travel planning service found out and told in which directions within Russia the price of a flight has decreased since the beginning of the year.
