Russia - FAS began checking after a sharp increase in prices in the DNS

Russia (bbabo.net), - The Federal Antimonopoly Service will check the validity of the price increase in the DNS trading network. The department has already sent a request to the company.

In addition, according to the press service of the FAS, the DNS official was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of committing actions that may violate the Law on Protection of Competition.

"The agency draws attention to the need for responsible behavior of participants in the entire commodity-producing chain and the inadmissibility of unreasonable price increases, including in a situation of a possible increase in demand for goods," the antimonopoly service said in a statement.

Earlier, DNS director Dmitry Alekseev said that the network raised prices by 30% due to high demand among buyers. The entrepreneur said that the company's activities in the face of a sharp fall in the ruble exchange rate "turned into the distribution of the deficit."
