"Due to unfriendly decisions of the aviation authorities of Bulgaria, Poland and the Czech Republic, from February 26, 2022, from 15:00 Moscow time, air carriers of these states and / or registered in them are subject to restrictions on flights to points on the territory of the Russian Federation, including transit flights through the airspace of the Russian Federation.

As explained in the Federal Air Transport Agency, the decision was made in accordance with the norms of international law as a response to the ban on flights on the territory of these states of aircraft operated by Russian airlines.

Flights of airlines from Poland, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria will be operated only with special permission from the Federal Air Transport Agency or the Russian Foreign Ministry.
