The ex-prime minister stressed that thousands of NGOs have been created, which are funded from abroad.

“I can’t imagine that we had such a case before. They take 1.7 billion lei from the budget, buy gas, as they say “alternative” from Poles, Ukrainians, etc., and taxpayers, those people who collected this money, they do not know about the price. It turns out that this is a secret, like the formula for calculating the price of gas. It became a secret after we, in the words of one of the leaders of the party in power, dominated Miller, "added Chicu.

The former prime minister noted that against this background, "theft and corruption are taking place." Chicu added that he also monitors budget revenues.

"I analyzed the income of the customs budget. There were slogans of the party about theft, schemes. They assured that after they came to power, all these millions and billions of lei would be in the budget. Despite the increase in customs revenues, if the difference in gas prices is removed from it, VAT 8%, as well as remove the difference in excises and VAT on petroleum products, the difference in taxes on fertilizer, then all these millions of growth turn into a minus," Chicu added.

He emphasizes that customs revenues have fallen.

"They steal, as in the famous 2013-2014. This will not lead to anything good. Some figures are shown to the public, but they do not provide all the information," Chicu added.
