Andrei Spinu: Energy systems of Ukraine and Moldova will continue to operate autonomously

Moldova (bbabo.net), - The energy systems of Moldova and Ukraine will continue to operate in an isolated mode. The Minister of Infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova, Andrei Spinu, announced this Telegram channel. As stated in his message, the testing of the autonomous operation of the systems, which took place on February 24-26, 2022, passed without any deviations from the norm.

"In this regard, we support Ukraine's position on maintaining work in an isolated mode and accelerating the process of full synchronous connection of the national energy system to the ENTSO-E Continental Europe network," Andriy Spinu wrote.

The Minister of Infrastructure told the citizens of the country that "the electric power system of the Republic of Moldova is working normally, without any incidents."

As previously reported, Ukraine decided to refuse to connect to the unified power system of the Russian Federation and Belarus after test work in an isolated mode. This was announced on February 26 by Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko.
