In addition, proposals will be developed on how to support citizens in the current conditions. Andrei Makarov, head of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes, told reporters about this. He clarified that work in this direction has already begun.

According to the deputy, these will be specific measures to support industries and companies that have suffered the most from the imposed sanctions. "We will also develop proposals on how to support citizens in the current conditions," the deputy said.

He also commented on the prospects for the Russian banking system against the backdrop of Western restrictions. It is stable and has sufficient capital and liquidity for the smooth functioning of bank branches and ATMs, Andrey Makarov said.

"All customer funds on the accounts are saved and available at any time," he assured. "Bank cards of all banks, including those on the sanctions list, continue to work stably in our country."

According to the deputy, the Bank of Russia has prepared for the introduction of restrictions on the country's banking sector.

Recall that after the start of a special military operation to demilitarize Ukraine against Russia and various sectors of its economy, new sanctions were introduced. Restrictions also affected air traffic.
