During the main trading session on the Moscow Exchange, the dollar exchange rate reached 106.44 rubles. (+28.24%), the euro exchange rate is 119.68 rubles. (+28.69%). It is reported by TASS.

Thus, the Russian currency weakened by more than 28%.

At the beginning of the trading session (at 10.00 Moscow time), the dollar reached the level of 90 rubles, and the European currency - more than 100 rubles.

Earlier, the American Bloomberg agency reported that the dollar exchange rate on the morning of February 28 in the Forex market reached 113.5 rubles, the euro exchange rate - 127 rubles.

Before that, it became known that the United States was considering imposing sanctions against the Bank of Russia.

On February 26, the United States imposed sanctions on Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
