Russia (bbabo.net) - The Federal Antimonopoly Service has issued a warning to the general director of the Fresh Auto dealership network, vice president of the Russian Automobile Dealers Association. The reason was the businessman's statements in the media about a possible shortage of cars in 2022.

"Such statements may lead in the future to a violation of the Law on the Protection of Competition and provoke an unjustified rise in prices. Organizations are prohibited from coordinating economic activities if it can lead, among other things, to the establishment or maintenance of prices," - said in a statement published on Telegram -channel FAS.

The Antimonopoly Service regularly analyzes prices in the automotive market. So, after media reports about AvtoVAZ's intention to set prices for Lada cars in the official price lists, taking into account the cost of additional accessories, the FAS conducted an audit, as a result of which the auto giant announced that it did not intend to impose additional equipment when selling its cars.
