Earlier it was reported that Gazprom has suspended gas transportation to the European Union via the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline. It is noted that in connection with the decision of the Russian company, reverse gas supplies from Germany to Poland began.
On December 18, Gazprom sharply reduced the reservation of the capacities of the Polish section of Yamal - Europe, which it orders in December at daily auctions. A total of 5.2 million cubic meters of the Polish section of the gas pipeline were ordered, which is 80% less than the previous day (27 million cubic meters).
The Yamal - Europe gas pipeline passes through the territory of four countries - Russia, Belarus, Poland and Germany and constitutes one of the main routes for Russian gas supplies to Europe. Its length is over 2 thousand kilometers.
