Productivity of non-resource enterprises should increase by 20% by 2024

Russia (bbabo.net) - Ten years ago, no one could have imagined that the Belgorod micro-firm for the production of children's toys would become an exporter of unique goods. Lovely doll houses and furniture for them, bedding and much more are sold in Italy and other EU countries.

The Bashkir family plant has also expanded its assortment, which already produces more than 260 children's goods. By the New Year, these and other enterprises - participants in the national project "Labor Productivity" - released additional batches. Santa Claus will have plenty to choose from.

In general, the Belgorod trading house "Mega Toys" sets the tone in the industry and is not going to stop there. At an enterprise where the production of toys is controlled at every stage of a complex process, we are sure that there is no limit to perfection. That is why Mega Toys decided to join nearly a hundred Belgorod participants in the Labor Productivity national project.

Experts from the Belgorod Regional Competence Center spent five months studying the intricacies of the production process together with the employees of the toy factory. As a result, every stage - from the warehouse of raw materials to the premises for shipment for sale - was scheduled almost every second.

The Competence Center experts have found an important resource for increasing productivity - reducing the time it takes to move raw materials from storage to machines. As it turned out, this was quite simple and inexpensive to do. At the factory, the equipment was rearranged, the necessary shelving was installed, and things went faster.

The increase in speed was immediately noticed by the employees of the production departments: statistical data showed an increase in product output. And it would seem that we can stop at this. However, the factory intends to develop further.

Wooden products - the same furniture for dolls - are in demand all over the world, and now it is important to optimize production costs at the Belgorod factory. The next three months will be devoted to this.

The factory intends to reduce the production time from 21 to 16 days, as well as reduce the stock of work in progress. So far, the number of such kits exceeds three thousand. And together with experts on labor productivity, the employees of the factory will achieve a decrease in them by about half.

The Bashkir plant of plastic products "Alternative" also produces children's goods, including toys. He works in the city of Oktyabrsky. And he was one of the first in the republic to join the national project "Labor productivity".

In 2021, the plant mastered the production of 61 children's toys. Now the assortment of children's products includes 283 items - from cups to complex prefabricated constructors, gurneys, furniture. They are designed for toddlers from 0 to 3 years old. These are bright, beautiful, durable, comfortable and safe things. Many are decorated with images of heroes of popular Russian and foreign cartoons.

The entire cycle - from the idea to the sale of the finished product - is carried out in-house. The marketing department submits ideas, engineers work them out, tool production produces molds, and workshops manufacture.

The plant, within the framework of the national project, received targeted support from experts from the Federal Center of Competence, increased production and reduced its cost by seven percent.

They began to introduce lean manufacturing tools here at the site for the production of children's ice cakes. Together with experts from the Federal Competence Center, the plant's employees managed to halve the volume of work in progress, from 228 to 456 units, and to increase output per employee per shift. And to reduce the production time by more than 3.5 times.

This year the Tenth Kingdom children's toys company from the Shakhovsky district joined the national project. For the first six months, lean manufacturing technologies were introduced here. They allow you to simultaneously achieve five goals. Improve product quality. Get rid of unnecessary expenses. Reduce the time for the production of goods. Reduce the overall costs of the enterprise. And finally, minimize the risks. The company will devote the next three months to improving production efficiency.
