Musk fulfills his Twitter promise to sell off Tesla shares

Tesla CEO Elon Musk sold enough shares in his company to fulfill the promise of a 10% stake. He stated this in an interview with the Babylon Bee website.

“I sold enough stock to hit the 10% target with options being exercised, and here I tried to be as precise as possible,” Musk said.

Since the beginning of November, the entrepreneur has sold more than 10 million shares worth more than $ 11 billion. This happened after a Twitter poll about whether he should sell 10% of his stake in Tesla. Then the majority of users voted to sell the assets.

Musk said in mid-December that this year he will become the largest US taxpayer in the history of the country. In the case of taking into account all options for which a special tax is levied, the entrepreneur will pay at least $ 10 billion this year.

At the same time, Musk said that he was thinking of quitting his job at Tesla and other companies in order to become a blogger.
