Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that on December 25 he will hold a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, where he will ask for additional gas supplies. He announced this on the air of TV Prva.
“We will have more than 6 million cubic meters. m. of gas. Tomorrow I will speak again on the phone with President Putin. I again asked [for a conversation], I am so annoying, ”the Serbian leader said.
He noted that they plan to discuss with Putin additional gas supplies and what has happened in the world over the year.
On November 25, the 19th meeting of the presidents of Russia and Serbia, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Vucic, ended in Sochi, at which the gas price for the republic was approved. The Serbian leader explained that he regularly communicates with his Russian counterpart, since it is easiest for him to get through.
He noted that Serbia saves $ 8.6 million on gas per day thanks to Russia.
Earlier, Vucic confirmed that the Russian Kornet anti-tank missile systems had arrived in Serbia. He noted that the republic had bought "the best missiles against armored vehicles in the world" at its father's price.
