In terms of the volume of invested capital, Poland is in 15th place among the main investors in the Republic of Moldova. The largest Polish investor is Polski Cukier (sugar industry).
Polish financial support is provided through the Development Assistance Program. The Republic of Moldova has been declared a priority country for Polish development assistance in sectors such as good governance, regional and rural development, and agriculture. For 15 years, Poland has implemented projects in Moldova worth 264 million euros.
