Russia - Rosreestr intends to increase the accuracy of geodetic measurements to 2 cm

Russia (bbabo.net), - The accuracy of geodetic measurements in the near future will increase to 2 cm. Head of Rosreestr Oleg Skufinsky said this at a press conference in TASS about the state program "National system of spatial data".

The national spatial data system will consist of several layers, he explained. By the end of 2022, Rosreestr is going to provide a unified management system for the geodetic network, including private stations. "The accuracy of measurements will increase to two cm. Now there is a difference of three meters," the head of the department noted. Thanks to this, it will be possible to correct the accumulated registry errors, of which there are about 8.5 million.

The second layer will be a single electronic cartographic base. This will be a domestic analogue of a foreign system, on the basis of which various navigation applications are now being created.

The third layer is the Unified State Register of Real Estate. Now the data in it is incomplete and inaccurate (59% of the boundaries of settlements are not included in the USRN, there is no data on the copyright holders of 48 million objects).

And one more layer - cadastral registration and registration of rights. Here, the goal of Rosreestr is to radically reduce registration suspensions and refusals. It is assumed that by 2030, cadastral registration will take no more than one day, and for a number of transactions registration will take place almost online, Skufinsky emphasized.

The national spatial data system will save time, money, nerves and protect property, said Deputy Head of Rosreestr Alexei Butovetskiy. Now it may happen that one and the same area will be allocated for farming and for mining. And the site where the house is built will suddenly turn out to be the lands of the forest fund. In the future, there will be "one entry point" - the investor will immediately see all the features of the site, there will be no need to study the data of each department separately. This will be a significant investment protection, Butovetsky said.
