Russia - Owners of personal subsidiary farms will be able to receive state support

Russia (bbabo.net), - Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin made changes to the state program for the development of agriculture and regulation of markets for agricultural products, raw materials and foodstuffs in order to give access to state support to the owners of personal subsidiary farms registered as self-employed. From 2022, they have the right to count on subsidies provided by the government to the industry. With these funds, "private traders" will be able to compensate for part of the costs incurred to increase the production of open field vegetables, potatoes, milk, with the development of specialized beef cattle breeding, sheep breeding and goat breeding.

The government hopes that the adopted decision will support the self-employed, who keep their personal subsidiary plots, will help increase the production of vegetables, milk and meat, and saturate the Russian market with domestically produced products.
