On Thursday, Hungary denied the message posted by the Financial Times (FT) that the European Commission has blocked the agreement between Budapest and Moscow concerning the expansion of a Hungarian nuclear power plant, which provides 40% of the electricity in this EU country.
According to FT, which cited "three sources close to the talks", the Commission followed the decision of the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom), which "refused to approve Hungary's plans to import only Russian nuclear fuel".
