According to the report, on the morning of September 16 the daily amount of gas transportation from the territory of Slovakia is 25.5 million cubic meters.

It is reported by Censor.NET referring to the press service of the state-owned "Ukrtransgaz".

The company recalled that during the same period last year 379 million cubic meters of natural gas were imported through the Slovak route.

During the year of the gas purchase through the Slovak gas transportation corridor Ukraine imported more than 11 billion cubic meters of fuel from Europe.

It has to be recalled that the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, told about the increase in purchases of the reverse gas to 100% of the pipeline capacity during his visit to Slovakia on September 10. Ukrainian record on the daily volume of gas imports through Slovakia was reached in January 2015, when deliveries exceeded 44 million cubic meters.
